Can I backtrack a little bit?

I know it’s been less than a post ago since I declared Substack was going to be where I posted my creative stories and short fiction. But the more I stayed on the platform, it just didn’t seem like the right place to put my work and still take the time I needed to write something truly good and worth sharing with you all.

Now, my writing isn’t on Best Sellers status, but I do feel like I have a perspective and I’d like to have a more intimate conversation with my readers about the worlds I’m creating, the topics I cover in those worlds, and what ever else comes up here as we dive deeper and my writing improves.

Overtime, I want to develop a community, maybe on Discord, but it will be a place where I’m not trying to compete with an algorithm, or trying to catch the attention my my people amongst a crowd of everyone else in their feed.
